Country living can be overwhelming if you're not used to it or prepared for it. We made the change from a suburban environment to country living rather successfully, and by following our tips and guidelines, anyone can. Our web site will answer questions about living in the country, and hopefully aid you in decision-making. Life in the country or in a small rural town is not for everyone. This site contains valuable information, and is a source for making informed decisions.

Living in the country or in a rural town offers many new challenges, but also offers what we consider many overriding benefits. You won't have congested malls to "hang-out" in, but you will have a few boutique style stores and shops where the person behind the counter knows your name and your preferences. You don't have numerous mega-screen cinemas to choose from, but you do have a '50's style movie theater that offers first-run films weekly. You don't have many lush structured parks where children can play, but there are areas here that human eyes have yet to see. I especially enjoy standing on my front porch in the morning sunlight and hearing nothing but a breeze in the juniper trees and the bird chatter.
